About Us

 

BattleField Gourmet’s Head Chef, Jim Sinden has been experimenting with creating fabulous, mouth watering recipes since he was a free spirited child, living the good life in Hawaii, surrounded by the freshest spices, seafood and vegetables always at his fingertips.  Being raised in an internationally "fun" food environment that provided an overwhelming culinary excitement. This life changing childhood experience in addition to his original family roots from the Ozark Mountains in Southeast Missouri has developed an unparelled culinary expertise.  This developed his exquisite palate and spawned the true desire to create unconventional entrees from exotic seafoods to Hawaiian Luau's and Mid-Western BBQ.  Southern California experiences enhances Mexican cuisine and capabilities.  Providing the correct level of mixing, spicing and food experiments with amazing results. 

 

Chef Jim Sinden has over 19 years of living in Hawaii and with many years in different cultures (Retired United States Marine), Chef Jim has developed many amazingly unique products that would make Benihana as well as Bobby Flay jealous. 

 

Jim's thirst for wanting only the best for family, friends and himself was the driving force behind testing and re-testing his concoctions until he came to that moment of clarity that screams out “THAT’S IT”!  No product within the BattleField Gourmet name will be produced without that true, heartfelt assurance.

 

Chef Jim has taken that enthusiasm and zest for the best with him throughout every aspect of his life.  His first culinary experiments were with sushi at the age of 4, escargot at age 6 and Chinese spring rolls at 7 and French frog legs at 8.

BattleField Gourmet sauces are highly accepted throughout our test market area consisting of Hawaii, Virginia, Washington DC, Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Southern California, Missouri, Alaska and Texas.  Our test market includes more than fifteen thousand participants.

 

What's next??  BattleField Gourmet's future expansion includes the introduction of preformed Habanero and Jalapeno hamburgers, pre-seasoned and sauce infused ribs, chicken, beef steaks, and beef jerky to our ever-expanding line of gourmet foods.

 

As a current resident of Fredericksburg Virginia for over 9 years, Chef Jim Sinden brings his exciting products and expertise to the region as a dedicated producer of amazing food products with a viable focus on supporting historic values.  "RESPECT HISTORIC LANDMARKS" is listed on all product labels and identifies corporate interests to support historic education.  Five percent of sales are delegated to supporting such organizations and historic intrests such as the Virginia Historic Society.
